We are looking for an experienced Landscape Team Leader to work alongside a tight knit team of motivated professionals, creating some of Auckland’s best high end residential landscapes. Join our award-winning team at Humphreys Landscaping Ltd.
About the role
The person we are looking for needs to have proven experience running landscape sites, have confidence supervising staff and other trades working alongside them to deliver consistently high-quality results.
This is a hands-on role where your knowledge in all aspects of landscaping will be utilised.
A qualification may be an advantage but experience here is key.
Responsibilities
If successful you will be introduced to Humphreys' processes by spending time with each of our construction teams to learn our systems, before being set up as foreman of a small team, to head up your own projects under the direction of one of our Site Supervisors.
Skills & Experience
The necessary skill set you have will include:
- Ability to set out and profiling of sites from set out plans
- Solid understanding of excavations/site works
- Co-ordination of multiple landscape trades
- Ability to motivate your team to meet regular targets for scheduling and quality
- Able to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
- A sound knowledge of hard and soft landscaping
