About the role
Humphreys Landscaping specialises in maintaining and delivering exceptional outdoor environments for some of Auckland’s most prestigious homes. Our gardens are known for their quality, attention to detail and presentation.
This is a permanent, full time position where you will work alongside an experienced and professional team maintaining high end residential properties. You will be responsible for ensuring gardens are presented to the highest standard year round.
Humphreys Landscaping provides strong support for our team and places a strong focus on training, development and career progression within horticulture and landscaping.
Responsibilities
General gardening duties will include:
• Maintaining high end residential gardens to a premium standard
• Operating gardening equipment including hedge trimmers, mowers, weed eaters and blowers
• Pruning and shaping a wide range of plant material
• Managing soil health, fertilising and general plant care
• Identifying and treating pests and plant health issues
• Maintaining overall garden presentation and detail
Skills & Experience
Applicants are preferred to have, but not limited to, the following:
• Experience in garden maintenance
• Strong plant knowledge and understanding of seasonal care
• A high level of attention to detail and pride in your work
• A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
• A passion for working outdoors
Required:
• A full New Zealand drivers licence
• A good level of physical fitness
• Reliable and consistent attendance
